I am SOOOOO excited!! I just posted my first product on TPT! :) I was really wanting notebook labels so I created some using clip art from Creative Clips! I think they are so cute and can't wait to use them! They match my classroom decor (Just black and bright colors!)

I also added my Clock Buddies. Clock Buddies are a way to group students. I assign each student four clock buddies. Then I can call out: Meet with you 3 o'clock buddy to___! And my students are paired easy as that! I usually put one student that is similar ability, one that is opposite ability, and two others that I think will work well. It really eliminates fuss and saves time! These are FREE in my store! Check them out!

Day of Deals

Holy smokes! Today was the day for deals! I woke up at 6:00 (not exactly willingly) to go to United Art and Education by 7:00. They don't open until 9:00 but they were doing their mystery envelopes today! After sitting in line for 2 hours... I got a $20 gift card!! Oh. My. Gosh! I got 5 packs of boarders, 4 claw grips, and birthday postcards.. oh and their desk calendar...  for only 5 dollars out of my pocket! PLUS!!! They had free goodies to give away and so I picked the staple remover!

Then, I headed over to Big Lots and got pillows for my reading area for $10 a piece! I have not seen such big pillows for only ten dollars so I thought it was a great deal.

THEN... At Christmas Tree Shop I got a chair for my reading area for just $20. I had the same one the last two years and my kids LOVED it. So this time.. I got 2! I can't wait to see my room come together!

So I just created this super cute new logo based on clip art and fonts from Creative Clips!

It was all FREE on her store! AWESOME! It was also super easy to work with and there were a lot of choices!!  I'm just learning, so I will probably try to come up with more of a detailed logo later on... BUT I will definitely be purchasing clip art from Krista very soon! :) Find her store over at:

Alright, ya'll. I thought I'd give this blogging thing a try. Even if no one on the planet reads it, I'll have it for myself to reflect on and use to remember those lessons after my brain goes foggy (which happens a lot!)

I really wanted to RAVE on this new (at least to me!) Periscope thing! I LOVE LOVE LOVE watching all these teacher bloggers share AMAZING information! I first read about it from the ladies over at Blog Hoppin'! Thanks ladies! You have got me HOOKED! There have been SO many great scopes!

On another note, I am ITCHING to get into my room and get set up. I have an IKEA list of all the things I want to add to my room this coming year! I will definitely be taking pictures when that time comes! :)
